31st HKIHRM Annual Conference & Exhibition – Building People Advantage for Business Sustainability

COL has always been an active player in the development of human capital management by providing HR professionals an extensive choice of HRMS solutions from fundamental to analytical-focused. At the 31st HKIHRM Annual Conference & Exhibition held on 22-23 Nov 2011, one of the largest annual people management events, COL surely would not miss the chance to showcase its HR solutions including all-in-one HRMS, web-based employee self-service portal, HR analytics, software-as-a-service HR solutions and payroll business outsourcing service. COL Showcased Technology to Ease HR Compliance in HR Magazine Conference

Amid the growing concerns on labour rights and benefits in recent years, a number of new employment ordinances and regulations like the Minimum Wage Ordinance (MWO) have been introduced. To sustain an organisation’s human capital pipeline, HR professionals must stay tuned to the market trends and issues in HR management to ensure compliance while maintaining the competitive edge of their workforce. The HR Magazine Conference on HR Trends & Compliance Strategies provided a great networking platform with HR elites from finance, hospitality, legal, pharmaceutical and telecom corporations to shed lights on their respective industry practices in coping with the ever-changing HR trends and regulations.

Pioneering the development of HR technology, COL participated in this conference. HR Magazine had invited Ms. Florence Cheung, Vice President, Human Resources of Wharf T&T to share how analytics tools provided insights on compliance strategies by analysing the status quo and demonstrating the business outcomes of legal changes. COL also showcased a suite of Human Resources Management System (HRMS) in achieving higher efficiency, effectiveness and analytical power in HR management. The conference was a great success gathering about 250 participants!
