Have you ever imagined handling the HR administrative workflows and documents at ease without paperwork? COL organised the “Paperless Human Resources Management” workshop to introduce a highly-effective HR administration procedure using employee self-service platform, We Pro, together with document management systems, aiming to help HR practitioners increase work efficiency.

COL is keen on exchanging insights and ideas in the human capital arena. COL supported the Greater China Talent Management Summit 2012 organised by A-Performers.com and was the exclusive lucky draw sponsor. As one of the most important HR events in town, the Summit served as an excellent networking platform which attracted the attendance of about 250 senior HR executives to share ideas on managing a multi-generation workforce.

Riding on the success of the previous workshop on employees’ attendance, COL partnered with a leading access control systems provider, B&T to share the tips on integrating the attendance data with COL’s human resources management system, HR Pro, and analytics tool, DecisionHR, to carry out in-depth multi-dimensional analysis.

The ever-changing business arena nowadays has called urgent needs for a competitive workforce which can see your businesses through challenges. COL organised the “5 Minutes to Make the Right Decisions in HRM” seminar to share the tips in sustaining a competent workforce at all times by adopting cutting-edge HR analytics tools and physiognomic science. Live demonstration on COL’s HR analytics tool, DecisionHR, and the presentation on “reading” job candidates drew great interest from the participants.

The need for continuous training and development of employees is surging in face of the fierce competition in the business arena nowadays. How do we identify the individual training needs, and implement the appropriate training courses in a cost-effective and quality manner that can benefit both our employees and the business in a long run? COL and Cyberwisdom, a leading e-learning services provider, jointly organised a workshop to introduce a systematic way to manage employees’ training and development needs using advanced HRMS, HR analytics tools and e-training modules.

COL took part in the "HR Readiness for an Uncertain Economy" organised by A-Performers.com. At the conference, COL introduced the latest HRMS solutions namely, HR Pro, We Pro and DecisionHR. The seminar attracted about 150 HR executives from various sectors to network and share the insights into what should be done to proactively prepare for the possible changes and risk ahead.

They have also demonstrated a powerful analytics tool which correlates the performance results with other key HR data to draw significant human capital insights. Ms. Florence Cheung, Wharf T&T’s Vice President of HR was invited to share useful tips on effective performance management.

Sales data is always the best indicator of business performance. Intelligent analysis of such data helps generate profitable tips on sales and marketing strategies. COL organised a workshop with scenario-based role-plays to introduce her powerful business analytics tool, which turns complicated sales data to straightforward and easy-to-read dashboards in different sales aspects within just minutes.

COL and Wharf T&T participated in The Retail Conference 2012 orgainsed by GS1 and Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association to introduce the latest business analytics and ICT solutions that help retailers drive profitable growth and enhance business operational efficiency. Ms Ruby Ng, Senior Manager, Professional Services of COL outlined the benefits of DecisionSales, a user-driven sales analytics tool to help users generate quick multi-dimensional analysis for strategic business planning.
